Ashnoor Kaur’s father clarifies his ‘take advantage’ remark was not body-shaming: ‘Don’t fall for…’

She also said that there was no “negativity” inside the house, and that seeing all the contestants gather around the table when the house brought out dinner was a “really heartwarming” moment.
Ashnoor Kaur had an emotional day in the Bigg Boss 19 house as her father Gurmeet Singh visited her. The sincere conversation between father and daughter was also reflected on social media. Many viewers were shocked to see Gurmeet telling her daughter not to forget contestant Tanya Mittal’s body-shaming comments and not take advantage of it.
Gurmeet wrote on Instagram Stories, “After yesterday’s episode, I saw some videos suggesting that I asked Ashnoor to ‘capitalize’ on Tanya’s body-shaming comments. Since this is not true, I would like to clear up these misconceptions at this time. My words were taken completely out of context.”
She further said, “When Ashnoor asked me about forgiving Tanya, that conversation had nothing to do with body shaming. It was a light-hearted, funny moment, most of which wasn’t shown in the episode. Because of editing, what I say is interpreted differently and that’s unfair for everyone involved.”
“I only entered the house to cheer up Ashnoor.”
She also said that there was no “negativity” inside the house, and that seeing all the contestants gather around the table when the house brought out dinner was a “really heartwarming” moment. “So I sincerely request you all to ignore the twisted, out-of-context comments. I entered the house only to encourage Ashnoor, not to belittle anyone. I cherish every memory I had with each contestant, whether it aired or not, and I left with so much positivity.”
