Al-Falah Group chairman’s family property in Mhow gets notice for unauthorised construction

The Mhow Cantonment Board in Madhya Pradesh has issued a notice to the residents and legal heirs of a residence belonging to the family of Al-Falah Group chairman Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui, citing unauthorized construction.

An official said on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, that cantonal board officials ordered the structure to be razed within three days.

Faridabad-based Al-Falah University, run by Al-Falah Group, is emerging as the epicenter of the investigation into the November 10 Delhi blast case that killed 15 people and injured many others.

Cantonment Engineer HS Kaloya said, “We have issued a notice to the house of late Moulana Hammad, father of Jawad Ahmed Siddiqui. According to the notice, the department had earlier issued numerous communications dating back to 1996 and 1997 directing the removal of unauthorized construction under relevant sections of the Cantonments Act, 1924.”

“However, despite repeated notifications, it has been reported that the structure in question has not been removed. In the latest announcement, the current occupant of the property or their legal heirs are instructed to remove the unauthorized structure within three days,” he said.

The official said that if the instruction is not complied with, the cantonal board will initiate deportation proceedings and the costs incurred will be recovered from the relevant party in accordance with the provisions of the Cantonal Law.

This property – house number 1371 – is located in survey number 245/1245 in Mukeri Mohalla area of ​​Mhow.

Madhya Pradesh police had earlier arrested Hamood Ahmed Siddiqui, brother of Hyderabad’s Jawad Siddiqui, in connection with a financial scam in Mhow, officials said.

Hamood, who is accused of orchestrating a massive financial fraud in MP Mhow 25 years ago, was arrested on Sunday (November 16), an official said.

The prime suspect of the explosion in Delhi is Dr. Umar Un Nabi was an assistant professor in the department of general medicine at Al-Falah University.

Several suspects linked to the Delhi blast are believed to have links to the university, prompting investigators to scrutinize institutional records, financial transactions and administrative approvals.
