Ruby Wax’s ‘secret feud’ with huge presenter is revealed after I’m A Celebrity star accused them of ‘stealing’ her career

Appearing on this year’s I’m a Celebrity, Ruby Wax’s long-running feud with a major TV star has once again attracted public attention.
The 72-year-old TV star is one of the famous faces appearing on the ITV jungle show this year; Bosses hope Ruby will speak her mind at camp and spill the secrets of some of the stars she’s met.
While Ruby rose to fame in 1985 by appearing as Shelley DuPont in Girls On Top, she later turned her attention to documentaries.
He had a successful career interviewing the biggest names of the era, from OJ Simpson to Donald Trump.
However, as his career began to slow down, he claimed that Louis Theroux stole the research idea from him following his worldwide success.

Ruby had a successful documentary career, interviewing some of the biggest names of the era, from OJ Simpson to Donald Trump.
However, he claimed that Louis Theroux stole the research idea from him after his worldwide success.
Ruby said: ‘I knew you’d say that. Can’t we discuss this? He took everything we did. I continued on my way. ‘I’ve got a new career, but if you say that word to me I’ll vomit.’
He added: ‘I’ve evolved but I still have some anger.’
Years later, in 2020, Ruby appeared Punished by Louis’ BBC podcast Here he explained that he was angry at the publisher, not directly at himself.
Admitting that he had not watched any of his documentaries until the morning of the interview, he said: ‘The problem is not you, it’s what you bring up.
‘Jealousy, envy, my failure, my father’s disapproval… This is my reality.
‘I looked this morning and saw what you were doing. Great. You’re okay, that’s what I had to do. Other than coming out of Girls On Top, I was a personality; That’s how I made my money.’
Ruby went on to explain that she still gets compared to Louis on a weekly basis.
‘The name was mentioned over and over again, it wasn’t even your name anymore,’ he said.
During a previous appearance on Adam Buxton’s podcast, the 55-year-old admitted she still had anger towards Louis.
Years later, in 2020, Ruby appeared on Louis’ BBC Ground With podcast, where she explained that she was angry at the broadcaster, not him directly.
‘If I take a taxi it’s maybe more than once a week. “Did you do what Louis Theroux did?” they will say. or “What happened to you?” they say.
Meanwhile, on Thursday, I’m a Celebrity fans watched as Ruby delivered a scathing insult to newcomer Tom Read Wilson; days after viewers demanded she be fired for rudeness.
Celebs Go Dating’s receptionist Tom, 39, debuted alongside Vogue Williams on Thursday, and the pair were appointed “Explorers in Chief.”
This means the duo now controls the camp; including assigning chores to her new co-stars.

In tonight’s episode Tom decided to read a sonnet to Ruby, 72, and told her: ‘Shall I compare you to a summer’s day?’
But it turns out comedian and presenter Ruby isn’t a fan of the entire sonnet.
He told Tom: ‘I don’t like the part about the stripes… compare me to a summer’s day and leave it at that.’
Tom also began singing scales in the stream, so loudly that he was heard by his famous friends at camp.
