Brisbane council plans taller buildings for party precinct

“Fortitude Valley is already close to transport, jobs and entertainment, and with major Brisbane 2032 venues nearby, it is the right place to get more people living close to where they work and play,” he said.

“This new plan will unlock new homes, increase leisure options and further activate one of our most vibrant inner-city areas.”

Community consultations on the plan will begin Dec. 8 and be completed by Feb. 15 next year, with the hope that the final plan can be adopted by the city and state in 2027.
