Trump Once Again Angry At Zelenskyy? Says ‘Ukrainian Leadership Has ZERO Gratitude’ | World News

US President Donald Trump criticized Ukraine’s leadership on Sunday, claiming they showed “zero gratitude” to Washington for its efforts to broker peace between Ukraine and Russia.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump said he “inherited a war that should never have happened.” He said Ukraine’s leadership has shown “zero gratitude” for U.S. efforts as Europe continues to buy oil from Russia.
“The War between Russia and Ukraine is a violent and terrible war that would NEVER HAVE HAPPENED if the US and Ukraine had strong and decent LEADERSHIP. It started long before I took office for a Second Term during the Sleepy Joe Biden Administration and it got worse. If the 2020 Presidential Election had not been RIGGED AND STOLEN, the only thing the Radical Left Democrats are good at doing, there would be no Ukraine/Russia Wars like there are. During my first term in office, Putin never He wouldn’t attack, but when he saw Sleepy Joe in action he said, “Now is my chance!” and the rest is history,” he shared.

“I INherited a war that should never have happened, a war in which everyone lost, especially millions of people who died needlessly. UKRAINIAN “LEADERSHIP” EXPRESSED ZERO GRATITUDE FOR OUR EFFORTS AND EUROPE CONTINUES TO BUY OIL FROM US. RUSSIA TO UKRAINE HE CONTINUES TO SELL LARGE QUANTITIES OF WEAPONS TO NATO FOR DISTRIBUTION (THE TROOPER JOE GAVE EVERYTHING, INCLUDING THE “BIG” MONEY, FOR FREE, FREE, FREE!), he added.

March 2025 US-Ukraine Exchange
This is not the first example of the US President’s dissatisfaction with the Kyiv leadership. In March this year, talks between the United States and Ukraine regarding the signing of an agreement for rare earth minerals ran into trouble after a bitter exchange between President Trump and US Vice President J.D. Vance on the one hand, and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the other.
Zelensky left the White House shortly after.
During the Oval Office meeting, President Trump reportedly told President Zelensky that he “didn’t have any cards” in the negotiations and that he should have been more grateful. Meanwhile, Vance told Zelensky that he should be more respectful to Trump.
Ukraine-Russia Peace Agreement
President Trump’s last words came after US Secretary of State Marco Rubio reported that the Russia-Ukraine peace proposal was prepared with the contributions of Moscow. He also stated that previous proposals from Kiev were also taken into account.
While traveling to Geneva for discussions on the proposed solution, Rubio emphasized that the document was drafted entirely by the United States.
President Trump has insisted that the US-backed peace plan aimed at ending the Russia-Ukraine conflict is not his “final offer” to Kiev. His comments came after a coalition of Ukraine’s Western allies expressed concern that the current draft required major changes.
According to IANS, Trump also called on Ukraine to accept the deal by November 27, but when asked if this represented his final offer, Trump said: “No, we want to achieve peace. We will end the deal one way or another.” he said.
At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin described the draft as a potential “foundation” for a final solution.
Meanwhile, in his somber national address on Friday, Zelenskyy warned that the country “may face a very difficult choice”: “Either lose its honor or risk losing an important partner.” He vowed to protect the “dignity and freedom of Ukrainians” and said Kiev would continue to work constructively with the United States.
