Ahead of National Milk Day on November 26, Milma has expanded its range with five new products, including Samridhi ghee, Milma Plus flavored milk in a can, ghee halwa, kanthari buttermilk and banana burfi.

These launches are an important part of the strategy to reposition Milma as an international brand that aims to compete with multinationals by using attractive, premium packaging while maintaining product quality, Milma chairman KS Mani said at a press conference held in Kollam on Tuesday (November 25, 2025).

“Milma has successfully standardized the quality, quantity, packaging and price of its products across all three regional associations,” he said.

Milma’s newly launched Samrudhi oil comes in premium matcha glass bottles. It comes in 500 ml and 1,000 ml bottles priced at ₹480 and ₹900 respectively. Samrudhi oil will be available in supermarkets and consumers can also order it through online platforms.

Milma Plus flavored carton milk, marketed by Milma’s Alappuzha Dairy, is available in vanilla, badam, chocolate and rose flavours. Price per box is ₹38. The shelf life of the product, which is produced using sterilization technology without adding any preservatives, is nine months at normal room temperature. Milma ghee halwa is the newest premium product from the Malabar regional association of Milma. It blends the taste of famous Kozhikode Halwa and Milma ghee. The premium dessert comes in a 4500 gram pack and is priced at ₹260. Milma kanthari buttermilk, a special product for health enthusiasts, is made using Milma curd, salt and Kanthari pepper. The price is 50 TL in a 700 ml bottle.

Milma’s Banana Burfi is made using Milma Ghee, banana and jaggery. The product comes in 100 gram and 250 gram cartons priced at ₹70 and ₹160 respectively.

“Despite reports of decline in cattle numbers, Milma recorded a 14% increase in milk supply from April to September this year. Milma currently has a market in all major cities in India and our products are in high demand in West Asia. We have recently made arrangements to distribute our products in Australia and New Zealand as well,” the President said.

Minister of Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development J. Chinchurani will inaugurate the State-level National Milk Day celebrations in Kollam on November 26. The event will be chaired by Finance Minister KN Balagopal.
