“Are you ready for this initiative? Shedeur Sanders is the most powerful Black man since 2009. Do you know what happened in 2009? That’s when President Obama was elected into office. He is the most powerful Black man since 2009,” said Perkins. “LGND TLK.”
“That’s why I’m saying it. You said you were sitting at home watching the game, and what did you do? You ran with the TV. … What were you doing? You were cheering like your parents… When Shedeur Sanders was on the field, it’s the only time I’ve ever seen Black people come together, put down all the swords. There’s no Black on the other side fighting for anything… Everybody supports Shedeur Sanders.”

“And when I say strong, there are two sides to it. He brings the entire Black community together. I haven’t come across one Black person who’s said a single bad thing about Shedeur. Not even one because he has that balance. He’s like, ‘I’m arrogant, but I’m humble, too.’ It has balance. And he’s having fun with this thing… …The strongest Black man in the sport. You know, damn… The black man is the strongest player in the sport. Because he continues to be talked about even when he is not playing. “
Sanders has appeared in just two NFL games this season. The Browns selected him in the fifth round of the draft in the spring, and he had to work hard to become a starter.
The former Colorado forward showed how poised he is and how confident he is in his abilities as a football player. The first game against the Baltimore Ravens went much differently than the win against the Las Vegas Raiders.
