Prolific shoplifter lurks outside store before chocolate tub raid | News

A prolific thief was caught on camera stealing several celebration tubs during a theft spree.

CCTV footage shared by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary shows Rebecca Goodchild, 29, of Middle Park Way, Havant, lurking outside before entering the One Stop store and swiping items away.

Police said the woman’s crime was “serious” and had a significant impact on local businesses and residents.

Goodchild was sentenced to 21 months in prison after being found guilty of 93 burglaries, 30 Code of Community Conduct breaches, two assaults on security guards and three failures to appear in court between June and September.
