Emergency services warn bushfire burning close to Aubin Grove homes in Perth’s south
Dangerous fires are burning near homes in Perth’s southern suburbs.
The fire was first spotted in Aubin Grove just after 2.30pm on Thursday and continues to burn near some homes south of Armadale Road.

Authorities have warned those east of Tapper Road, west of Liddlelow Road and north of Coffey Road in parts of Aubin Grove and Banjup to now leave heading west.
As fire behavior increased, the alert level was raised. Firefighters closed Gibbs Road to prevent the flames from spreading to nearby properties.
It is understood more roads may be closed as winds continue to pick up throughout the evening.
While authorities said the fire posed a possible threat to life and homes, they sent a helicopter to provide aerial support to those fighting the fire.
