CTET’s news: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released the notification PDF for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session on its official website ctet.nic.in. Prospective teachers can check eligibility, exam patterns and submission procedures at: detailed notification. CTET exam is conducted in central and state government schools like Kendriya Vidyalayas (KVS), Navodaya Vidyalayas (NVS) and private schools considering CTET scores for grades 1-8. It is conducted by CBSE to select candidates who plan to teach classes. The application deadline is December 18.
CTET February 2026 Session
CTET 2026 is scheduled to be held on February 8, 2026. This national level examination will be conducted in two shifts – morning Paper I for teaching at primary level (grades IV) and afternoon Paper II for upper primary level (grades VI-VIII). The exam consists of 150 MCQs and no negative marks will be taken.

- Go to the official website at ctet.nic.in
- Click on the link that says ‘Apply for CTET February 2026’.
- Complete registration and provide all personal and academic details
- Select exam centre, assignment (I or II or both) and preferred language
- Candidates are required to upload their latest passport size photograph and signature in the required format.
- Submit the form now
- Download the confirmation page now and print it out.
