American woman missing after leaving cruise ship tour in Saint Martin

On November 20, an American woman was reported missing in Marigot, Saint Martin, after she did not return to the Dutch America cruise ship.

The Caribbean island’s Sint Maarten Police Force (KPSM) is seeking assistance in locating a missing passenger, 55-year-old Ann Evans.

According to authorities, Evans was on the Rotterdam cruise ship but arrived in St. After landing in Port St. Maarten, he was unable to return.

“During the tour, Ms. Evans got off the bus at Marigot, French Saint Martin, but did not return to the bus or cruise ship,” the police force said.

Law enforcement on both the French and Dutch sides of the island were alerted to Evans’ disappearance.

KPSM believes a woman matching Evans’ description used her passport to check into a hotel on the French side of the island. He was also seen around the hotel. accordingly a local news source.

A similar incident occurred in September when a 47-year-old American woman left a cruise ship while docking in Bonaire and never returned. Still missing.

Not all missing persons cases are solved, and some end without a definitive explanation.

It has not yet been confirmed whether Evans is in danger or just wants to be left alone. Evans’ current condition is unknown.
