Police shoot man dead after siege in Victorian town of Daisy Hill | Victoria

An armed man was shot and killed by the police after a seven -hour siege was initiated by the previous gunshots.

Police was called to Menzies Drive on the Daisy Hill near Victoria town Maryborough, and was called on Thursday at 15:00 after a gun was fired in an incident where no one was injured.

The critical event response team tried to talk to the man before one hour siege to help Dog Squad, Victoria Police He said in a statement Friday.
