Ben Whittaker reveals his house was BURGLED by robbers during knockout title victory – as boxer becomes latest star to be targeted after Jamie Vardy and Raheem Sterling saw their mansions broken into

British light-heavyweight boxer Ben Whittaker has revealed that his house was burglarized during a fight on Saturday night.
In his own words, Cerrah was competing against German rival Benjamin Gavazi in Birmingham when his home in the West Midlands was targeted.
It was a fight he won easily; He secured the WBC Silver light-heavyweight title by defeating Gavazi twice in the first round.
But after a successful night in the ring, Whittaker returned to Wednesbury to discover his house had been ransacked by thieves.
The boxer announced on Instagram this morning that he would offer a ‘huge reward’ for information about the robbers.
“They even took my IBF belt,” the 28-year-old player said, referring to the IBF light-heavyweight championship belt he won in June 2024.

‘The ups and downs of sports. Come back… the house has been robbed. But I got a huge prize at Wednesbury. Find these people and let me know.’
Whittaker’s post revealed that thieves broke in through a window, breaking shutters in the process.
A statement made by West Midlands Police on Sunday said: ‘We are investigating an attack involving stolen goods at a house in Wednesbury shortly after midnight today (Sunday).
‘Anyone with any information is asked to call us on 101 quoting crime reference number 20/459973/25. Alternatively you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.’
Whittaker became the latest high-profile athlete to be targeted by robbers after a number of footballers were also robbed while on professional duty.
In recent years, we have witnessed the homes of stars living in luxurious areas such as Surrey and Cheshire being raided by robbers. Jack Grealish, Angel di Maria and Newcastle United’s Joelinton have been victimized in the past.
Just a few weeks ago, Chelsea star Raheem Sterling had his home broken into by burglars while he and his family were at home.
It was revealed this week that Jamie and Rebekah Vardy’s house in Italy was burglarized
Raheem Sterling’s Surrey mansion was also broken into by robbers a few weeks ago.
It was initially thought that those planning to break in would not be able to escape with any valuables, as they seemed surprised by the fact that the house was not empty.
However, it was later revealed by Daily Mail Sports She said Sterling made an effort to protect himself and his children by fighting back with a knife at the intruders.
And just this week off the coast of Italy, former England striker Jamie Vardy and his reality TV star wife Rebekah found their home raided by thieves and £80,000 worth of valuables seized.
The Vardy family moved to their villa near Lake Garda in the summer when the 38-year-old football player was transferred to Cremonese, one of the Serie A teams.
But last weekend, while Vardy was playing in his side’s 3-1 defeat to Roma, the family’s home was broken into by a three-man gang.
A police source said: Daily Mail: ‘We think the gang were watching him and his family and timed the break-in to coincide with when he was in Rome.’
The gang broke in through a window and made off with watches, jewellery, cash and other high-value items, including a Patek Philippe watch.
