Neil Le Febvre takes wheel at MTA

Powerful lobby group the Western Australian Motor Trade Association has appointed Neil Le Febvre as group CEO.
Mr. Le Febvre fills the shoes of Stephen Moir, who has been in the driver’s seat for 15 years at the MTA, a 60-person organization representing 1,600 members including some of the state’s wealthiest people as well as a major educational organization.
Mr Le Febvre has more than 30 years of leadership experience and most recently served as chief executive of Outdoors WA, an advocacy group for adventure tourism operators, clubs, event organisers, retailers and professional associations.
Until last month he was also chairman of the Australian Outdoor Council, the national peak body for the outdoor industry.
His previous roles include chief operating officer of FinTech Services Australia, COO of Craig Mostyn Group and general manager of marketing, product and communications for HBF.
The MTA described Mr. Le Febvre as a leader with more than 30 years of experience who has overseen $1.6 billion in revenue, secured more than $500 million in capital and led transformations in fintech, agriculture and membership organizations.
MTA WA President Robyn Cook said that the Association has entered an important period as the automotive industry turns to rapid change and evolving workforce needs.
“We are evolving in response to significant technological advances and workforce pressures, a moment that requires strong, strategic leadership,” Ms. Cook said.
