Donald Trump’s MRI scan results released as President had ‘cardiovascular checks’ | World | News

The White House has confirmed that US President Donald Trump had a cardiovascular and abdominal examination during his MRI scan. Press secretary Karoline Leavitt said the screening was “preventive” at a time when concerns are growing about Mr. Trump’s health and cognitive abilities.

He told reporters at a news conference that “men in his age group benefit from a comprehensive assessment of their cardiovascular and abdominal health.” Ms Leavitt added: “The purpose of this imaging is preventive – to detect any problems early, confirm overall health and ensure the president maintains long-term viability and function.

“President Trump’s cardiovascular imaging was completely normal. There was no evidence of arterial narrowing or abnormalities in the heart or large vessels that impair blood flow.

“The size of the heart chambers is normal. The vascular walls appear smooth and healthy. There are also no signs of inflammation or clotting. Overall, the cardiovascular system shows excellent health.”

“Abdominal imaging is also completely normal. All major organs appear very healthy and well perfused. Everything assessed is functioning within normal limits, with no acute or chronic problems.”

This followed a video showing Mr Trump struggling to walk, reigniting fears for the president’s health.

The Republican was spotted with his nine-year-old grandson, Theodore Kushner, on the White House Presidential Walk of Fame over the weekend.

A video of the couple was posted on X and has since been viewed more than a million times. Social media users noted that the president appeared unsteady on his feet and was dragging one of his legs as he moved.

Adam Cochran claimed that this behavior was typical of “post-stroke patients” and people with “neurological disorders.”
