Alternate side parking suspended next week in NYC: Here’s why

NEW YORK (PIX11) — New York City’s alternate side parking rules will be briefly suspended next week.

New Yorkers won’t have to move their cars for cleaning on Monday, in keeping with the Immaculate Conception.

More Local News

Drivers are reminded that it is illegal to park within 15 feet of a fire hydrant and that painted sidewalks at fire hydrant locations do not indicate parking spaces.

Tickets will be distributed to vehicles that do not comply with the rules. Parking meters remain valid throughout the city.
