Country singer Jessie James Decker shares health struggle on Instagram

Jessie James Decker is struggling with a mysterious illness.

The 37-year-old country singer opened up about her health in a series of Instagram stories, sharing that she hasn’t been feeling well for the past few days.

A story published last night showed Jessie sitting in a hot tub, adding: “Feeling a little better today…still have a slight fever and stomach ache but after the day I had yesterday I’ll take that.” Decker added that he’s “trying to get through this right now” and that everything he has is “kicking my ass.”

He also included a question box asking fans for movie suggestions he “must watch while he’s bedridden one day.”

“Good morning. I’m just getting some more coffee. I’m speechless so I don’t know why I’m doing this,” he said in a story Thursday morning. “It’s like I forgot for a moment. My face is so swollen, I started feeling a lot better last night and that’s the truth. And now this morning I keep coughing stuff up like it’s so heavy in my chest.”

“I actually took some compulsory inhalers to see if it would help,” she continued. “Whatever this is, it keeps turning into something else. It’s weird.”

The story ended with Jessie telling fans she “hopes this goes away soon”, adding that she felt better the night before and that it “waked up my hopes”, and that she thought “Okay, this is almost over” but woke up “today with something new”.

She went on to share footage of herself having brunch before posting another story featuring a photo of herself on the couch, along with a comment box saying: “”Bad on my chest.” Maybe I need to take care of it, or will it go away soon?”

“[I] We used too much energy. She wrote on the photo: “I hate being sick. It makes me angry.”

Jessie and her husband, Eric Decker, recently competed on the fourth season of Fox’s hit show “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.” The couple made it to the sixth day of the competition before Eric had to leave the competition due to an injury, with Jessie choosing to withdraw voluntarily to support her husband.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, the couple shared that appearing on the show together brought them closer together.

“I think I saw a lot of courage and determination coming out of him. And that’s an environment we didn’t put ourselves in,” Eric said. “So it was really special to be able to see him kind of grow in that regard. And then to be back in the barracks with cots and heavy bags and crappy food. It was unusual that we didn’t do that. And so we kind of went through that together. I think it’s just a natural bond.”

He continued, “But when we’re doing these team activities. Like he said, it’s just like a look. Okay, maybe a quick touch on the back or a quick hug if we can sneak in. That’s all you have to regroup, rebalance yourself to know, listen, my person is here, this sucks, but I got you and you got me, so let’s go.”
