Shiva Rajkumar Says He Is Ready To Portray Naidu If A Good Director Steps Forward

: Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar on Friday said he would be willing to play Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in a biopic, provided a talented director comes forward with a strong script. The actor, who is currently working on multiple Telugu projects, made this statement during his visit to the Kanaka Durga Temple atop Indrakeeladri in Vijayawada.
He received temple honors from the Temple head Borra Radhakrishna and officials, who welcomed him with traditional offerings. Speaking to reporters after darshan, the actor said he felt “extremely positive and blessed” after praying to Goddess Kanaka Durga.
Sharing details about his current Telugu ventures, Shiva Rajkumar said that he will be playing veteran political leader Gummadi Narsaiah in the upcoming biopic. Describing Narsaiah as a “leader of integrity and values”, he said that bringing such personalities to the screen is both inspiring and a responsibility.
“I am fully ready to play the role of Naidu if a good director approaches me with a strong narrative,” he said; This was a statement that quickly attracted the attention of political and cinema circles.
The Kannada icon also revealed that she will play an important role in the much-anticipated Telugu film ‘Peddi’ starring Ram Charan and expressed confidence that Telugu audiences will embrace her as warmly as her fans in Karnataka. “The director pitched an intriguing story and I instantly agreed,” he said.
Speaking about the Gummadi Narsaiah biopic, he said that the film aims to showcase the leader’s decades of service to the poor and his unwavering commitment to public welfare. He said the shooting will begin with the launch ceremony at Palvancha, where he will interact with the public as part of the launch.
