The agency’s representative said the crimes against the second boy, referred to as Student B, were marked by grooming and abuse of trust.
He noted that Joynes’ offenses against Student B were carried out while he was on bail for offenses relating to Student A.
Joynes was fired from her job teaching maths for gross misconduct in July 2022 after her first court appearance.
Ms Duckworth told the panel that paternity was assigned to Student B after Joynes gave birth to his child.
The panel heard Joynes manipulated Student B by buying him a £345 Gucci belt, leaving the boy feeling deceived by a teacher he should have trusted.
Panel chairman Phil Thompson said Joynes’ behavior was “unacceptable behavior” and “brings the profession into disrepute”.
Ms Duckworth said it was necessary and proportionate for the panel to recommend to Education Minister Bridget Phillipson that Joynes be permanently banned from returning to education.
The panel discussed the proposal privately. Mr Thompson said it would be a few days before the Education Minister made his decision public.
