World Cup 2026: England and Scotland find out World Cup kick-off times

England were given World Cup kick-off times that were suitable for UK audiences; But Scotland fans will face deadlines for next summer’s tournament.

England will play all three of their group matches in the USA; The first two matches will be against Croatia on June 17 and Ghana on June 23, starting at 21:00 GMT.

The last group match against Panama on June 27 will start at 22:00.

Scotland will play Group C matches in Boston and Miami, with the first match against Haiti at 02:00 at Gillette Stadium on 14 June.

Steve Clarke’s team’s next two games, against Morocco in Massachusetts on June 19 and five-time winners Brazil in Miami on June 24, kick off at 11pm.

England’s opening match in Dallas will be played under a closed roof, with air conditioning in the stadium, due to the heat expected in Texas.

The matches in Dallas and Boston, where Scotland have played twice, will be played on temporary turf as they would normally be played on artificial turf.

Miami, the venue for Scotland’s final group match against Brazil, is one of the places where extreme heat could cause problems in next summer’s tournament.

Should they complete the two rounds of UEFA play-offs in March, Wales or Northern Ireland will play all three group matches at 15:00 BST.

They would face Canada in Toronto on June 12, Switzerland in Los Angeles on June 18, and Qatar in Seattle on June 24.
