white house In his new National Security Strategy, he warns that Europe “could become unrecognizable in 20 years or less” due to mass immigration, adding that demographic change raises doubts about future US allies on the continent.
“If current trends continue, the continent will be unrecognizable in 20 years or less,” the 33-page document published Thursday said. The statement is included.
The “real and sharper prospect,” he adds, is “the erasure of civilization.”
Mass migration has been one of Europe’s most volatile political flashpoints over the past decade, fueled by repeated waves of immigrants from the Middle East, Africa and South Asia.

“It is therefore far from clear whether some European countries will have strong enough economies and militaries to remain reliable allies,” the document says. “Many of these nations are now doubling down on their current path. We want Europe to remain European, to regain its civility self-confidence and to abandon its failed focus on regulatory strangulation.”
The national security plan cites immigration policies that have “transformed the continent and created strife” as well as “decreasing birth rates” and the erosion of national identity.
The White House warns that demographic change could have significant consequences for the security of NATO and Europe, stating that many member states could become “majority non-European”. According to the document, this scenario could weaken Europe’s ability to deter its enemies and complicate US efforts to maintain transatlantic stability.
“It is eminently plausible that it will happen in the long term, within a few decades at the latest. Some NATO members “The majority will be non-European,” the document states. “Therefore, it is an open question whether they will evaluate their place in the world or their alliance with the United States in the same way as the signatories of the NATO charter.”

The document states that Europe’s economic decline is imminent, with its share of global GDP falling from 25 percent in 1990 to 14 percent today; “partly due to national and transnational regulations that undermine creativity and industriousness.”
But he says the economic decline has been overshadowed by the broader warning of “the erasure of civilization.” Immigration policies, censorship, political repression, rising birth rates and loss of national identity as the forces driving this trajectory.
TRUMP SLAMS EUROPE ON IMMIGRATION, SAID THE ‘TERRIBLE INVASION’ KILLED THE CONTINENT
Minister Donald Trump He repeated similar warnings during a visit to Britain last year, saying mass migration would “destroy Europe” and that the continent “won’t survive” unless governments dramatically change course.
The White House defended the warning, saying Europe was already suffering the consequences of mass migration.
“The devastating effects of uncontrolled immigration and the inability of immigrants to assimilate is a concern not only for President Trump, but also for Europeans who increasingly view immigration as one of their top concerns,” White House spokeswoman Anna Kelly said in a statement to Fox News Digital. he said. “These open border policies have led to widespread instances of violence, increases in crime, and more, with detrimental effects on the financial sustainability of social safety net programs.”
Kelly said Trump’s border policies “saved America from this kind of destruction,” adding that “other countries would be wise to follow suit.”
The White House pointed to a range of European data that supports the administration’s concerns, citing studies showing that asylum migration costs the Netherlands 475,000 euros per immigrant, illegal immigration costs France 1.8 billion euros in 2023, and non-Western immigrants commit disproportionately violent crime in Denmark and Germany. The White House also cited a series of deadly terrorist attacks carried out by immigrants across the continent.
The author of the 33-page plan is unknown, but it includes a foreword by Trump, who calls the document “a road map to ensure America remains the greatest and most successful nation in human history.”
The document forms part of the president’s sweeping national security goals, in which he has pledged to implement the Monroe Doctrine, adding its own corollary aimed at expanding U.S. influence in the Western Hemisphere and countering the growing footprint of adversaries.
The Trump administration argues that a “reasonably stable” Western Hemisphere, where governments work together to combat malevolent foreign influences, is key to U.S. national security. To achieve this, the administration promised in the document to “assert and implement a ‘Trump Corollary’ of the Monroe Doctrine.”
Former President James Monroe issued this doctrine in his seventh annual address to Congress on December 2, 1823, warning European powers against intervening in the Western Hemisphere through political influence or colonization. US Office of the HistorianA State Department affiliate notes that although European nations initially paid little attention to Monroe’s declaration, it eventually became “a long-standing principle of U.S. foreign policy.”

“After years of neglect, the United States will reassert and implement the Monroe Doctrine to reestablish American supremacy in the Western Hemisphere and protect our homeland and our access to key geographies in the region,” the document said. The statement is included.
