Anyone with a Nectar card urged to spend 15p in Sainsbury’s this month | UK | News

Anyone tasked with organizing a Christmas meal this year is being asked to take advantage of the festive deal by spending 15p at Sainsbury’s stores in December.

The supermarket chain has confirmed it will be offering the classic veg garnish in stores for just 15p with the Nectar card from Thursday 18 December; this will allow shoppers to stock up on a range of seasonal vegetables for Christmas Day. The 15p offer will only be available in stores for a limited time, so customers will need to snap up all the accessories quickly before the deal ends on Wednesday, December 24. The 15p price is only valid for customers with a Nectar card at Sainsbury’s, and customers simply scan their card at the checkout in store to save.

Customers who shop online will receive discounts automatically if their Nectar and Sainsbury’s accounts are linked.

If you don’t have a Nectar card, you can become a member Get one free online and collect points with personalized offers from Sainsbury’s and reward partners including Argos, British Airways and Esso.

Seasonal vegetables that will be available for just 15p at Sainsbury’s from December 18 include:

  • Sainsbury’s Carrots 1kg (69p without Nectar)
  • Sainsbury’s Brussels Sprouts 500g (£1.00 excluding Nectar)
  • Sainsbury’s White Potatoes 2kg (£1.32 excluding Nectar)
  • Sainsbury’s Parsnip 500g (No Nectar 74p)
  • Sainsbury’s Swede (No Nectar 62p)
  • Sainsbury’s Red Sprouts (79p without Nectar)

Shoppers will also be able to pick up a range of roasting essentials from Aldi Price Match in store and online, including Sainsbury’s Sage and Onion Stuffing Mix 170g (45p) and Sainsbury’s Gravy Granules for Meat 170g (62p).

And for those who can’t resist Pigs in Blankets at Christmas, Sainsbury’s Butcher’s Choice British Pork and British Bacon Pigs in Blankets x12 will be available for £2.50 with Nectar Prices (or £3.25 without Nectar) until Friday 26 December.
