Man killed, woman seriously injured as car crashes into medical centre at Niddree, Victoria

A man has died and a woman has been seriously injured in a horrific crash in Melbourne’s northwest.
The pedestrian was hit by a car on a footpath near the junction of Keilor Rd and Hoffmans Rd in Niddrie at around 9.30am on Monday morning.
The car then crashed into the health center.
The male pedestrian died at the scene.
A woman at the medical center was also hit by a car and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 63-year-old driver from Maribyrnong was taken to hospital with injuries under police protection.

“The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision continues,” the police statement said.
