Manchester incident LIVE: Armed officers swoop in | UK | News

Emergency services, including armed police, descended on the Manchester area on Tuesday evening. A large cordon was established on Clayton Street in Clayton on December 9, with police officers and paramedics spotted in the area.

Residents also told our sister site: Manchester Evening Newsspotted a police helicopter flying over the cordoned off area. The nature of the incident has not yet been confirmed.
