Baltimore protesters target Trump during Army-Navy football game visit

President Donald Trump’s visit to the 126th Army-Navy football game on Saturday was met with a mob of protesters outside M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore.

Images on social media showed a group of protesters carrying obscene signs against Trump on the street leading to the stadium.

Protests were expected for the game in the heavily Democratic city as Trump proposed sending the National Guard to Baltimore to help fight the city’s rampant crime. Baltimore consistently ranks among U.S. cities with high crime rates, often ranking in the top 5 for violent crime, especially murders and robberies.

Left-wing activist group the Free State Coalition (FSC) previously said: Baltimore Aquarium He said he would plan protests against Trump for Saturday’s game.

“Baltimore refuses to remain silent in the face of authoritarianism,” an FSC spokesperson told the press. “Protest is not un-American, but fascism is; this country was born in opposition to tyranny. We want to send a message to our neighbors who feel alone and afraid to speak out: you are not alone. This is not normal, it is not okay, and there is no future for America if we work together.”

The protests against Trump come on the same day that officials said two U.S. Army soldiers and a U.S. translator were killed in an ambush attack in Syria.

Trump said the attack was carried out by ISIS and that there would be “very serious retaliation.”

“We mourn the loss of three Great American Patriots, two soldiers, and a Civilian Interpreter in Syria. Likewise, we pray for the three wounded soldiers, who have been confirmed to be in stable condition,” Trump wrote in Saturday’s Truth Social post.

“This was an attack by ISIS on the United States and on Syria, which is in a very dangerous part of Syria that it does not fully control. Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara is extremely angry and very angry.” He was disturbed by this attack. There will be serious retaliation. Thank you for your interest in this matter!”
