Two women killed in horror crash while reportedly returning from Lady Gaga concert in Sydney

Two women have died in a horrific early morning crash on the NSW Central Coast.
Emergency services were called to the Pacific Highway near Wadalba, about 100km north of Sydney, shortly after 2am on Sunday following reports a sedan and a hatchback had collided.
The hatchback’s driver (45-year-old woman) and passenger (38-year-old woman) died at the scene.
The women were reportedly returning home from a Lady Gaga concert at Sydney Olympic Park on Saturday night when the accident occurred.
The 49-year-old driver of the sedan was treated by paramedics at the scene for arm and leg injuries and was then taken to John Hunter Hospital in serious condition.
A crime scene was established where specialist officers from the Accident Investigation Unit were called to investigate the circumstances surrounding the accident.
Both vehicles were seized for forensic examination.
A report will be prepared to be submitted to the forensic physician.
The incident led to the closure of the Pacific Highway in both directions near Wadalba on Sunday morning.
The area was fully opened to traffic shortly after 3 p.m.
