– The alleged attackers behind the Sydney attack were a father-son duo, a 50-year-old man and his 24-year-old son. While the father died at the scene, his son was taken to the hospital.
– Commissioner Lanyon revealed that one of the Bondi Beach attackers, aged 50, had a valid firearms license for 10 years and was in possession of six registered firearms.
– Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese condemned the incident, calling it a “devastating terrorist attack” and expressed solidarity with the Australian Jewish community.
