These are the questions we need to ask

The ability of two men, a father and son, to carry out a mass-casualty antisemitic attack on a Jewish Hanukkah celebration – the worst terrorist atrocity on Australian soil – raises important questions for our security and intelligence services and the politicians who oversee them.

We are still in the immediate aftermath of the atrocity. While some are trying to blame it on political reasons, the facts are not yet out. But what we know allows us to ask three important questions about what is the worst gun massacre we’ve experienced since Port Arthur.
