Romantic drama Saiyaara, starring debutant Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda in her breakthrough role, surprised everyone with its box office collections when it released in theaters in July earlier this year and became a huge blockbuster. The film ran in theaters for over 50 days and was even appreciated by the audience when it was released on the OTT platform Netflix in September.

Now Saiyaara is ready for its world television premiere on Sony Max on Saturday, December 20 at 8pm. The channel shared the promo on its social media accounts with the caption: “Some love stories don’t need filters – just faith. The Mohit Suri directorial became the highest-grossing love story in the history of Indian cinema, earning a net income of Rs 329 crore in India and grossing Rs 569 crore worldwide. The Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda-led film also collected Rs 21.50 crore in India on its first day, recording the biggest ever opening for a debutant-led project.

Produced by Aditya Chopra’s Yash Raj Films, Saiyaara was loved by audiences and critics for its powerful performances, emotional story, unforgettable music and touching writing. The soundtrack, especially the Saiyaara title track composed by Tanishk Bagchi, Faheem Abdullah and Arslan Nizami, written by Irshad Kamil and sung by Faheem Abdullah, became a phenomenon on social media.
