As Capitol Hill prepares for a tense on-camera testimony with special counsel Jack Smith, Democrats House of Representatives They are pressuring the Justice Department to release the unpublished half of its report detailing the President Donald Trumpprocessing of confidential materials.
Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., the committee’s top Democrat, said Smith should have a chance to talk about his full work on his own behalf ahead of a contentious closed-door meeting with lawmakers on Wednesday.
“They’re afraid of being embarrassed by what’s in the report,” Raskin told Fox News Digital Monday evening.READ MORE.
