Australia v England cricket scores, results, start time, wickets, teams, how to watch, Adelaide Oval
The word out of Adelaide is that England will receive a review following Wednesday’s DRS debacle.
England spoke to match referee Jeff Crowe after the game, who accepted that an error had occurred and handed the review back to England.
This means tourists will start Thursday with two reviews instead of one.
BBG Sports, the third party responsible for providing “Snicko” to broadcasters, made an operator error when Alex Carey was 72. The operator placed the pitch at the bowler’s end rather than Carey’s side, thus resulting in a large spike for those caught behind.
Although Carey still had the advantage, the wrong chart was shown and this was the reason for the desynchronization.
BBG Sports founder and chief technology officer Warren Brennan said the company took “full responsibility” for the mistake that led to Carey’s suspended sentence.
Cricket Australia boss Todd Greenberg is currently addressing the incident on SEN.
“I think that’s not good enough. We’re asking a lot of questions of the provider,” Greenberg said.
Carey just spoke on Seven and said she had struck again. “A few little cherries on the inside edge, that was a lot of noise, wasn’t it?” Carey said. “I would definitely move up as a goalkeeper. A little luck is always good, right?”
