Surfers and swimmers pay tribute to victims of Bondi shooting

Surfers and swimmers paid tribute to the victims of Sunday’s shooting at Bondi beach on Friday morning.

They rowed past the breakers to form a ring and held a memorial ceremony on the shore.

Bondi beach became a guard area for the 15 people who died and dozens of injured people in the attack last weekend.

Bouquets of flowers are collected in a pile next to the park where the conflict took place. Mourners in the park have been listening to community speakers ever since.
