Gunmen kill 10 people, injure another 10 in South Africa’s Johannesburg

Unidentified gunmen killed 10 people and injured 10 others in a shooting rampage in a township near Johannesburg, police said on Sunday.

The reason for the attack in Bekkersdal, 40 kilometers (25 miles) southwest of the city, was also unknown, police told AFP.

“Some victims were shot randomly on the streets by unknown gunmen,” the police statement said. The statement was included.
