Rapper and singer-songwriter Nicki Minaj described US Vice President JD Vance as an “assassin” when she took the stage with Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative activist Charlie Kirk, who was killed by a gunman in September. Minaj, who has openly supported President Donald Trump’s allegations of violence against Nigerian Christians, was a surprise guest at an AmericaFest event organized by Turning Point USA, a group Kirk founded to rally young voters to Republican causes. When asked what her message would be to young men, Minaj began by citing Trump and Vance as examples of “great role models.”
