Bill Clinton accuses Justice dept of ‘protecting someone’ amid newly released documents; Here’s everything you need to know

Bill Clinton expressed concern about the selective release of the Jeffrey Epstein files by the Justice Department, claiming that some information was withheld to protect an individual or organization. Latest release includes photos of Clinton with Epstein, but she denies any wrongdoing and demands full transparency
Former US President Bill Clinton issued a strong response to the Department of Justice’s (DOJ) recently released files on Jeffrey Epstein. The disclosure on Friday brought to light numerous photographs and documents pointing to Clinton’s relationship with Epstein. Although Clinton was linked to Epstein through flight logs and social interactions, the former President insists that the Justice Department’s selective release of documents raises serious concerns about transparency and accountability.
Clinton’s Selective Disclosure Allegations
In a statement released by Clinton spokeswoman Angel Urena, the former President criticized the Justice Department’s handling of the release of the files. Clinton’s team claims that the Justice Department selectively released the documents, suggesting that some information was withheld to protect an unnamed person or entity. Urena demanded full disclosure of all relevant records, including grand jury transcripts, photographs and interview notes, that could provide a complete picture of Epstein’s operations.
‘…The information the Department of Justice has released so far and the way it has done so makes one thing clear: someone or something is being protected,’ Urena said. Clinton’s spokesman emphasized the need for full transparency and noted the importance of the public’s right to access all records, especially those related to the investigation into Epstein’s activities.
Published Epstein Files: Clinton’s Existence Revealed
The Justice Department’s latest release includes several photos of Bill Clinton at Epstein’s company and raises eyebrows. Among the images published was a photo of Clinton with a woman on her lap on Epstein’s private jet. Another photo showed Clinton dining with Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, while a third photo showed her in a jacuzzi surrounded by women, their faces hidden. The images fueled speculation about the depth of Clinton’s ties to Epstein, even though the former president has repeatedly denied any illegal activity.
Flight records show Clinton traveled on Epstein’s jet several times in the early 2000s, but she has consistently denied any involvement in any of Epstein’s crimes. Clinton argues that she cut ties with Epstein long before the financier’s criminal activities became public.
Ongoing Investigation and Remaining Files
Despite the publication of these files, the investigation into Epstein and his partner Ghislaine Maxwell is still ongoing. Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche promised that additional documents would be made public in the coming days. Clinton’s demand for transparency is expected to grow as more files are released, especially files that could provide more information about Epstein’s network and his affiliates.
As the investigation continues, the public continues to be closely interested in the details surrounding the relationship between powerful figures and Jeffrey Epstein. Clinton’s calls for full disclosure highlight the growing scrutiny over how the Justice Department handled the high-profile case and whether the full extent of Epstein’s connections will be fully revealed.
