‘Gordon and Tana are very upset’: Now Brooklyn snubs the Ramsays as insiders reveal bombshell Holly and Adam Peaty wedding move… and tell KATIE HIND how meeting Nicola has changed his bond with his ‘best friends’

When he was a little boy, Brooklyn Beckham loved nothing more than playing with his best friends Gordon Ramsay’s kids.
He was especially close to the chef’s twins, Jack and Holly, who were born just nine months after him.
While the Beckhams and Ramsays lived their lives in the spotlight on both sides of the Atlantic, their children had a lot in common. Together they have experienced the ups and downs of being the children of global celebrities.
In addition to spending holidays and Christmases together, they shared jokes and secrets. But Brooklyn will make a notable absence as Holly prepares to walk down the aisle for Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty’s much-talked-about wedding this weekend.
While his parents, David and Victoria, will be there along with their three other children, Romeo, Cruz and Harper, the 26-year-old influencer and his wife Nicola Peltz will not be attending. Instead, they are expected to spend the holiday period in America with Nicola’s parents, Nelson and Claudia, and her siblings at their Palm Beach mansion.
Missing the wedding, of course, means they’ll avoid an awkward encounter with Brooklyn’s parents, with whom the duo are currently in an open war.
Sources familiar with the weddings say Brooklyn, once a central part of the Ramsay/Beckham meetings, will ‘of course be missed’.
But the truth is that his parents and siblings aren’t the only guests Brooklyn avoids. Although they had been best friends since they were little kids, I was told that Gordon and Tana’s relationship with her oldest son, Jack, who is now in the Marines, had sadly ended.

Is Brooklyn right to leave his old friends and family after finding love, or is loyalty more important?
It’s thought they haven’t spoken for a while. In fact, according to friends of both families, their bond began to unravel when Brooklyn started dating Nicola.
And like Brooklyn’s parents, there was no sign that Jack was in Brooklyn or that Nicola went to renew their wedding vows in the summer. It is not known whether Brooklyn was invited to Holly’s wedding but declined, or whether she was included on the guest list.
But knowledgeable sources suggest that Holly will be unlikely to snub him because the Ramsays take the ‘door is always open’ view when it comes to Brooklyn.
And they think it’s a ‘huge shame’ he didn’t go because he and Holly were once so close; she and Jack were even closer.
‘David and Victoria almost consider Gordon and Tana to be family. The children all grew up together. Brooklyn always loved spending time with them, but her and Jack’s friendship is not there anymore, which is a huge shame.
‘Gordon and Tana are also upset about this disagreement. They are very, very fond of Brooklyn. They’ve known him since he was little.
‘Brooklyn can’t seem to see many of the friends she used to hang out with before Nicola anymore, and it’s so sad. These are the people he’s been with since time immemorial, and Holly is one of them.
‘But if Brooklyn had been there, it would have been a pretty big deal with his family there.’
News that Brooklyn will not be attending Holly’s big day comes just days after it was revealed that Holly had blocked her parents and younger brother Cruz on social media platform Instagram. It is unknown if he also blocked 14-year-old Harper, as he has set her account to private, making it impossible to determine her status one way or another.
David and Victoria see Brooklyn’s move as a sign of ‘complete estrangement’ following their huge split in the spring, when Brooklyn and Nicola snubbed all of the former England captain’s 50th birthday celebrations.
Despite their fight, both parties continued to maintain their relationship amicably on Instagram until the weekend, where their lives were lived out in endless posts and short videos.
But yesterday The Sun reported that the reason Brooklyn blocked his parents and youngest brother was because they ‘liked’ a video of him roasting a chicken, in which he discussed brining the bird with beer to add extra flavour.
Posh’s move led to many of her mutual followers calling on the mother and son to build a bridge, which is said to have upset Brooklyn. He soon blocked his immediate family. This led Cruz to take to Instagram; Where else? – explaining that, far from hindering their eldest son, his parents had ‘woken up thwarted’ by him.
Meanwhile, sources close to Brooklyn told this newspaper yesterday that they found their parents’ posts ‘alarming’.
Team Brooklyn also says he and Nicola aren’t ready to forgive their parents until they make a public apology for their respective roles in the briefing war between the two sides.
Brooklyn and Nicola are believed to have told media outlets about the negative statements about Posh and Becks, but a source says: ‘They seem to have forgotten about it.’
There’s no denying that the row currently breaking out will cast a shadow over the Beckhams’ Christmas.
The couple has accepted the split for what it is, but they are deeply saddened by their parents (Brooklyn’s grandparents), to whom they were once very close.
But back to the Ramsay/Peaty wedding, which is expected to take place at Bath Abbey on Saturday, with a lavish reception expected to be held at Kin Hall in Wiltshire.
This too is like a saga and something intertwined with the Beckhams.
Indeed, when photos emerged of Victoria at Holly’s hen party at the exclusive Soho Farmhouse in October, Adam’s mother Caroline was conspicuously absent.
Events take a turn for the worse after this, and Peaty removes himself from the guest list, along with his once-loved mother, father and two brothers (amid allegations that he disapproved of the dress Holly bought him to wear).
It is understood that the bride-to-be thought her future mother-in-law’s outfit did not match the ‘look’ of the day and offered to buy another one for herself.
Meanwhile, Adam, 30, has fallen out with his brothers Richard and James; The latter was arrested last month for harassment after allegedly sending messages to swimmers while he was on his bachelorette in Budapest. Only his sister Beth from Adam’s family is expected to attend the weddings.
So on Saturday, when 25-year-old Holly takes her vows, the extent of the conflict between these warring families will be clear to all.
‘If Brooklyn hadn’t fallen out with his own family, maybe he would have been there too,’ a source said. ‘The sad thing is, he probably would have really enjoyed it.
‘But families are families and everyone will do their best to have a great time and get goosebumps after a very difficult year.’
