Perth Zoo: Dingo duo, Sunny and Luna, officially on the nice list following surprise visit to Santa

Perth Zoo’s favorite dingo duo are officially on the nice list after meeting Santa on Christmas morning.

Siblings Sunny and Luna swapped their usual enrichment walk at the zoo for a special visit to Santa’s Cabin on Thursday morning, where they met Santa Claus and his elves.

“Walks around the Zoo are an important part of Sunny and Luna’s routine,” a Perth Zoo spokesperson said. “Enrichment like this keeps them active and busy as they explore new sights and smells.

“Just like pet dogs, sniffing and exploring is a natural behavior that provides mental and physical benefits.”

Perth Zoo’s precious animals were spoiled this festive season as Sungai, Lestari, Utama and Pulang were showered with gifts on Tuesday.

The gifts, hand-decorated by their keepers, included the primate’s favorite treats, such as vegetables, popcorn, sunflower seeds, coconut and rosemary.

Perth Zoo is open every day of the year, including Christmas Day and Boxing Day.
