Shubman Gill in Trouble for Wearing Nike Vest During IND-ENG Test?

For the last four days, Shubman Gill was in headlines for all the right reasons.
However, when Gill called back the Indian dough on the 4th day in Edgbaston, he wore a black vest fired the discussion because BCCI’s official Kit sponsor Adidas.
Now Viral Solungaç appeared to the pavilion wearing Nike garment to declare India’s second inning from the locker room.
The Cricket Control Board in India (BCCI) signed a 250 Crore -specific outfit contract with Adidas, which was effective in 2023 until 2028 and covering the whole match day and underwear.
According to the contract, Adidas’s brand should be included in the board of directors, a rule that Nike’s logo can directly violate the opponent.
Netizens pointed out that Nike is a direct rival and detonated intense online discussions.
“Adidas Fine Gill is it here to wear Nike? I know it’s a personal equipment, and it’s not a part of Adidas’s kit, but in 2006-07, Ganguly was punished for Puma headband sport when Nike Kit sponsor was sponsor.”
There has not yet been an official response from BCCI or Adidas.
The Indian team is currently advantageous in the second test, because it has rejected six British dough on 5th day and still needs 441 runs.
