M1 traffic: Motorway shut with huge Boxing Day delays after horror crash | UK | News

The M1 southbound road has been completely closed following a serious crash on Boxing Day. All four lanes were closed between Junction 29 and Junction 28 in Derbyshire this morning.

National Highways said: “Traffic is currently being held on the M1 southbound between J29 Chesterfield and J28 Mansfield to allow Derbyshire Police and Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service to work at the scene of the collision.”
