NEWYou can now listen to Fox News articles!

Joe Rogan called President Donald Trump’s White House plaques attacking former presidents like Joe Biden and Barack Obama “crazy” in a new episode of his podcast released Thursday.

Comedian also joined Rogan guest Shane GillisReading the language on plaques newly installed in the White House, he cited “Sleepy Joe Biden” as the “worst president in American history” and key moments of his term, such as the chaotic withdrawal from Afghanistan, laid out in Trumpian fashion.

“This is crazy. You shouldn’t be allowed to do this. Right?” Rogan said historians should only present dry facts for such monuments.

“That’s a plaque in the White House,” Rogan marveled after he finished reading Biden’s.

“The dictator is not beating his accusations. This is like an African dictatorship,” Gillis joked.

Hearing the news that the Kennedy Center had been renamed the Trump-Kennedy Center, Rogan sighed.

“Oh boy. Someone needs to tell him, ‘Hey, this is no good. You can’t do this,'” he said. “Because then other people can do it, and then the White House ceases to be the White House and becomes whoever is in the house, who can go crazy and say everyone else is a fraud.”

Gillis said he doesn’t think any president would act like Trump while in office.

“But the problem is, it opens the door for someone on the left to do their own version,” Rogan said.

“Who’s going to be a Democrat, who’s next? F*cking Gavin Newsom? He’s not going to put up a plaque,” Gillis said.

Rogan countered that Newsom regularly copies Trump. Newsom attracted attention for clearly aiming to satirize the president with his Trump-style social media posts.

Rogan laughed when he learned that another plaque awarded to Ronald Reagan named him a fan of Trump long before his “historic run for the White House.”

“This is very disturbing,” Rogan said. “That’s a crazy idea.”

The White House said the plaques should be celebrated by all Americans.

“President Trump is beautifying the White House and giving it the splendor it deserves at no cost to taxpayers, something everyone should celebrate. The Presidential Walk of Fame is a wonderful addition to the House of the People,” White House spokesman Davis Ingle told Fox News Digital.

In a plaque he wrote about Obama, Trump called Obama one of the most divisive figures in American history and spied on his campaign and passage of the “Affordable Care Act.” Bill Clinton refers to Hillary Clinton and her defeat at the hands of Trump in the 2016 election.

Trump also used a photo of Biden’s autograph instead of Biden himself to disparage his predecessor.

Rogan supported Trump’s bid in 2024 but criticized the president on several issues in 2025, including some of ICE’s tactics to eliminate illegal immigrants and the administration’s handling of the Epstein files.
