Meghan Markle’s U-turn about her children’s titles due to key talk | Royal | News

It was claimed that Meghan Markle made a major U-turn regarding her children’s titles after her meeting with two important members of the Royal Family. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex stepped back from royal duties in 2020 and moved to America for a new life.
Prince Harry and Meghan currently live in a luxury mansion in Montecito, California, with their six children, Prince Archie and four-year-old Princess Lilibet. However, the Sussex couple, who wanted to make a fresh start in the USA, were not ready to sever all ties with the Palace.
Harry and Meghan still retain their royal titles but do not use them for commercial gain following a mutual agreement with the Firm.
The couple reportedly decided, after consulting Harry’s cousins Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, that Archie and Lilibet would keep their HRH titles, allowing them to choose their own paths in the future.
Despite the reports, one royal commentator argued that different sons were behind the Duchess’ decision.
According to OK! MagazineRoyal commentator Neil Sean said: “Harry and Meghan are very, very keen to hold on to these royal titles.
“After much deliberation, Meghan decided that the titles would be a good thing not only for herself, but for both of her children.”
He added: “Meghan has been very friendly with senior members of the monarchy, especially Princesses Eugenie and Beatrice.
“After that, Meghan realized how useful a title can be, especially when you want to move in the right circles. That’s why they want to get their hands on titles.”
The Duke of Sussex visited England alone again in September, where he met with King Charles for the first time in 19 months.
It’s unclear whether the Duchess will return to the UK anytime soon. He last visited with his wife for the funeral of the late Queen Elizabeth in 2022.
