One-year-old dies after choking on stone in Kerala’s Malappuram

In Kerala, a 1-year-old boy died by choking because he swallowed a stone. The incident took place at Changaramkulam in Malappuram district on Sunday. The boy, Aslam Nooh, son of Mahroof and Rumana of Pallikkara, swallowed several small stones while playing in the courtyard of his house. One of the stones got stuck in his throat and he died.

The child started to choke and was taken to the hospital. However, the stone remained in his throat and he died a few hours later.
