Perth, South West told to brace for strongest winds this year: BOM
This morning there is a violent air warning in Perth and South WA.
The Meteorological Office is expected to bring a strong cold façade to the southwest yesterday and a second powerful cold façade passing early this morning will bring winds.

Residents are reminded of tying loose furniture, the winds are expected to be 50 to 65km/s on average, and zirve Gusts up to 100km/s.
The winds will last in the afternoon and evening and will become a rare weather event, and similar winds are recorded only five times a year.
Albany, Bunbury, Esperance, Katanning, Mandurah, Manjimup, Margaret River, Meredin, Barker Mountain, Narrogin, Northam and Perth are the places that can be affected.
Cape Leeuwin has already removed some strong winds from the first front, yesterday at 13:00 at 119km/s winds recorded. Rottnest Island recorded 94km/s at 9.50.
