Adam Peaty’s row with his family has worsened after he was accused of ‘cruelly’ turning down an invitation to his great-aunt and uncle to his wedding.

The 31-year-old Olympic swimmer, who said ‘yes’ to 25-year-old Holly Ramsay at a lavish wedding in Bath last weekend, is said to have canceled the invitation a few days before the ceremony.

Her mum Caroline was left devastated last month when she was left uninvited after a fight broke out over her not being invited to Holly’s hen-together.

Adam’s great-aunt Janet, 73, and uncle Eddie reportedly banned him from attending Bath Abbey for weddings.

The publication said that due to the short notice, Janet and Eddie had already paid ‘hundreds’ of pounds for gifts, clothes and accommodation.

She was hand-picked by her brother’s bride, Holly Ramsay, as one of three bridesmaids for her lavish wedding.

The source claimed Bethany had changed since forming a close friendship with Holly, saying: ‘Beth betrayed her mother to see what she could get by being the only family member who got along with Adam and Holly.’
