Emphasizing the progress made through the BRICS New Development Bank (NDB), Modi emphasized the need for more intelligent financing: “While sanctioning projects through BRICS NDB, demand -oriented decision making should focus on long -term financial sustainability and a healthy credit rating.”
The Prime Minister emphasized that BRICS should rise to meet the expectations of developing nations, which sees the block as a voice for justice and opportunity. “Secondly, we can work together to fulfill certain expectations and requests that global southern nations can get from BRICS.”
Modi urged the block directly to address the needs of the Global South, and India led as an example. “We can work together to fulfill certain expectations and requests that the countries of the Global South may have from BRICs,” he said.
He expressed India’s leadership in the initiation of BRICS Agricultural Research Platform, which facilitates information sharing, climate adaptation and precision farming in agricultural biotecne. “I also suggested to create a BRICS Science and Research Depot that could benefit global southern countries,” he added.
Returning to economic flexibility, Modi called for a united façade to protect the key global supply chains. “We must focus on securing and resistant to supply chains. In addition, it should be ensured that no country does not only use these resources as interests or weapons,” he warned.
Strengthening India’s technology diplomacy, PM Modi defended the idea of AI as a force for collective human progress. “We believe in AI as a tool to improve human values and abilities in India. ‘India, which is directed by AI’ for everyone, is actively using AI in many sectors,” he said.
Modi concluded his statements, reminded other leaders the weights of their responsibilities. “The Global South has many expectations from us. To fulfill them, we must follow the principle of ‘Leader’ as an example ‘.
