Meghan Markle needs to stay in her lane if she wants to see success | Royal | News

Meghan Markle has been told she needs to “stay on her own path” if she wants to be successful in 2026. The 44-year-old Duchess of Sussex has launched a number of business projects this year, including the As Ever brand, her short-lived podcast and Netflix series.
While the Duchess seems to have found some degree of success with every project she’s tried, one expert said she needed to focus on one or two key areas and be truly successful in them. Brand and Culture expert Nick Ede told the Express that this was when he was at his most “influential”.
Mr Ede said exclusively: “From a public relations perspective, 2026 feels like a very important reset year for Meghan.”
He continued: “It’s not that we want more from Meghan, we want her to show clarity. We want to define who she is and what her place is in the celebrity world.”
“He’s been shooting himself constantly over the past few years and it hasn’t worked very well.
“For maximum success, she needs to focus on two things: consistency and reliability. This means choosing one or two key areas to focus on. Whether that’s philanthropy, women’s entrepreneurship, or simply becoming famous for a brand, she needs to commit to this long-term, without constantly reframing her narrative.”
“The biggest win for Meghan would be to let her work speak louder than her story. She’s effective and impactful when she’s at her most powerful, which is the path she needs to stay on. I’m excited to see where she goes in 2026.”
Meghan has kept her 2026 plans under wraps but it is believed her main focus will continue to expand her As Ever business.
Her business has seen massive growth in less than 12 months and now sells a range of products, from spreads to wine and even candles.
Despite receiving various reviews and criticisms, Meghan also had a successful 2025 with her Netflix show, With Love.
It is not known whether the third season of the series will be shot.
