Officials review arrangements for International Kite and Sweet Festival

Telangana Tourism Department officials on Saturday (January 3) reviewed the preparations for the International Kite and Sweet Festival 2026, scheduled to be held from January 13 to 15 at Parade in Secunderabad.

In addition to national and international kite flyers, famous dessert makers from all over the country will participate in the festival. The inspection was conducted by Telangana Tourism Development Corporation Managing Director Valluri Kranthi along with DCP (Traffic) Dannarapu Srinivas, Additional DCP (Law and Order) Venugopal Reddy, GHMC Deputy Commissioner Sujatha and officials from Fire Services and Tourism departments.

During the inspection, authorities issued instructions on security arrangements, parking facilities, traffic regulations, fire safety measures and cleanliness to ensure the smooth conduct of the three-day festival. They underlined the importance of close coordination between all relevant departments to manage large crowds and avoid inconvenience to visitors.
