According to the Daily Mail, Steven Bartlett is about to marry his long-time girlfriend Melanie Lopes.
The 33-year-old CEO podcaster proposed to French-Portuguese yoga entrepreneur Melanie during a romantic trip to Morocco on Christmas Day, Diary reveals.
During their festive getaway, Steven gave Melanie a diamond engagement ring and popped the question; The wellness influencer was happy to say ‘yes’.
Sources close to the couple say that after living together in both London and Los Angeles and continuing their demanding careers, they have never been happier and are excited to start planning their wedding.
Multimillionaire Steven, who is also the star of Dragons’ Den and is said to be worth £320million, was with Melanie, 33, for a year before the couple briefly split as they focused on building their business empire.
But realizing he couldn’t live without her, Steven flew 22 hours to Bali to win Melanie back; where Melanie runs a breathwork and yoga retreat, and their relationship has gone from strength to strength ever since.

Multimillionaire Steven, who is also the star of Dragons’ Den and is said to be worth £320million, dated Melanie for a year before the pair briefly split as he focused on his business empire.
A source said: ‘Steven and Melanie have been together for a long time, but their relationship really took a step forward after they moved in together in both London and Los Angeles a few years ago.
‘The proposal happened on Christmas Day, while we were on holiday together in Morocco.
‘Steven asked Melanie to marry him and gifted her a beautiful diamond engagement ring. He was very excited when she said “yes”. They truly are each other’s soul mates and couldn’t be happier.’
When contacted by the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for the couple confirmed: ‘We can confirm that Steven and Melanie are engaged to be married. Naturally, they are both very, very happy.’
The couple met on Instagram in 2016, but have chosen to keep their romance largely out of the public eye, despite their careers being heavily focused on social media.
By his own admission, Steven struggled to maintain a healthy relationship with Melanie in his early days while pursuing his business goals, and he discussed this struggle during one of his live podcast appearances in 2022.
He previously said: ‘As in my case, between seven in the morning and nine o’clock at night, I’m in the zone and have complete tunnel vision.
‘Frankly, I am not aware that there is anyone outside my workplace and the rooms I sit in, in terms of my personal and private life.
The couple met on Instagram in 2016, but have chosen to keep their romance largely out of the public eye, despite their careers being heavily focused on social media.

‘So if my parents or girlfriend text or text me during the day, my chances of dealing with it in a meaningful way during that period are almost impossible.
‘In the evenings, I often get tired of the day and find it difficult to switch off and engage in other relationships, which in turn damages those relationships.’
But after learning to maintain a healthy work-life balance, Steven and Melanie rekindled their love and have since traveled the world together while supporting each other’s careers.
Steven is best known as the host of The Diary of a CEO podcast, which regularly tops the UK charts and attracts millions of listens every month thanks to its engaging interviews and A-list guests.
Since launching in 2017, Steven has interviewed a number of high-profile names, from Kamala Harris to Louis Tomlinson, Davina McCall, Lewis Capaldi and Simon Cowell.
He is also the youngest Dragon to appear on the BBC’s Dragons’ Den alongside Peter Jones and Deborah Meaden, and is regularly seen investing in new and emerging business ventures.

Steven moved to the UK from Botswana when he was two and left university at 18 to pursue his dreams of becoming a businessman.
He fell out with his parents, especially his mother, who was ‘heartbroken’ after believing Steven had thrown away the education he never received growing up.
But Steven found success with social media marketing agency The Social Chain, which was valued at £300 million when it first entered the stock market.
He is preparing for a busy year; As well as wedding planning, Steven will return to the upcoming series of Dragons’ Den and continue recording his podcast, which is one of the most successful podcasts in the world.
In October last year, his company, Steven.com, which includes media ventures including Flight Story, was valued at £320 million.
Steven said it would help “build the Disney of the creator economy”, referring to the multi-billion pound industry of influencers who make a living from streaming and sharing on TikTok, Instagram, Twitch and YouTube.
