The family behind Carlton’s legendary Universal Restaurant has gained a sweet sibling. Flavors range from classic to whimsical, but all are backed by traditional gelato-making techniques. Previous specials have featured zucchini and pavlova; Look out for peach sorbet, which highlights Murray River peaches until mid-January. If gelati isn’t calling your name, it might be in the narrow range of donut-shaped cakes.
