Health Key to Academic Success, Says SP at Medical Camp

Karimnagar: Physical and mental health are the foundation of academic success, district police chief Mahesh B. Gite said after inaugurating a free mega medical camp organized by the police department in collaboration with Sri Tirumala Nursing Home for students of ZPHS school at Mustabad in Rajanna Sircilla district on Wednesday.
General health examination, eye examination and free medication services were provided to many students in the camp. Speaking at the meeting, the SP stated that many students were suffering from anemia and vision-related problems and urged them to prioritize their health through regular medical check-ups. He encouraged his students to set high goals, maintain discipline and work consistently to achieve success in life.
SP Gite also warned students against cyber threats, including suspicious links, fake social media profiles and AI-generated video scams. He advised them to never share personal information with strangers online and to immediately report any suspicious activity to their parents, teachers or the police. Emphasizing the importance of the ‘Golden Hour’ in cyber fraud cases, SP explained that victims who immediately report online fraud by calling the National Cyber Helpline in 1930 have a higher chance of recovering the money they lost.
The medical camp received a great response as experts from various fields provided counseling services. SP thanked the management of Sri Tirumala Nursing Home and the staff of Surabhi Institute of Medical Sciences for their support. CI Mogili, SI Ganesh, local doctors and school faculty members attended the event.
